Learn more about City Center.

City Center was founded in 2016 with the mission to bring relief and restoration to lives in Oklahoma City. Led by Pastor Jed Chappell and his wife Julie, City Center was brought to life out of their great love for Oklahoma City. Pastor Jed has a powerful life story as a reckless youth living as a drug dealer and criminal, to becoming a pastor committed to seeing lives in Oklahoma City, the same city he helped poison, fully restored.

At City Center, through Adopt-a-Block, recreational activities, and partnerships with other organizations within the community, we spend our days sharing our lives with families and youth who live in challenging neighborhoods in Oklahoma City. We currently offer offer an after school and summer program for youth, relief for families with food insecurities, athletic mentorship programs, English as a Second Language classes, haircuts, and a clothing room — all free of charge.

Beginning in July 2017, we will provide a warm shower through our mobile shower trailer initiative to those in Oklahoma City experiencing homelessness.  City Center wants to be a friend that can offer relief and dignity through this initiative and open a door to relationship. The goal is to provide 75+ showers per week to men and women experiencing homelessness in Oklahoma City, by meeting them "where they are.”

Mission Statement
