Learn more about City Center.

City Center was founded in 2016 with the mission to bring relief and restoration to lives in Oklahoma City. Led by Jed Chappell and his wife Julie, City Center was brought to life out of their great love for Oklahoma City. Jed has a powerful life story as a reckless youth living as a drug dealer and criminal, to becoming a pastor committed to seeing lives in Oklahoma City, the same city he helped poison, fully restored.

At City Center, through Adopt-a-Block, recreational activities, and partnerships with other organizations within the community, we spend our days sharing our lives with families and youth who live in challenging neighborhoods in Oklahoma City. We currently offer an after-school and summer program for youth, relief for families with food insecurities, athletic mentorship programs, haircuts, and a clothing room — all free of charge.

Mission Statement

City Center exists to bring relief and restoration to lives in the 405.

Core Values

We refuse to believe that this is as good as it gets.

Compassion compels us to action.

We are convinced relationship is the bridge that leads to restoration.

We don’t have to serve, we get to serve.

We inspire and equip people to become leaders and serve in their community.

We go find a need and meet it before it finds us.
